ShowMyRoof (“we,” “us”) helps homeowners preview a new roof on a photo of their home and, when they ask, connects them with local roofing professionals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact details you enter to get your preview: your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Project details: the home address you search and any photo of your home you provide or that we retrieve from Google Street View, plus the roofing material you choose.
• Generated images: the before/after preview we create for your home.
• Technical data: basic request information such as your IP address and browser user-agent, used for security and to prevent abuse.

How we use your information

• To generate and show you your roof preview.
• To send a one-time verification code confirming the phone number or email you provided is yours.
• To connect you with a local roofing professional about your project when you request a quote.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

SMS / text messaging

When you enter your mobile number and tap “Send me a code,” you consent to receive a one-time, 6-digit verification code from ShowMyRoof by text message. These are transactional messages sent at your request — we do not send marketing or recurring text messages on this program. Message frequency depends on how many codes you request. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message; reply HELP for help, or email support@showmyroof.com.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, or text-messaging consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with anyone for promotional or marketing use.

How we share information

When you ask for a quote, we share the project details and the contact information you provided with a local roofing professional so they can follow up with you. We use service providers (for example, our hosting, image generation, and messaging vendors) solely to operate the service. We never sell your personal information, and we never share your mobile number for third-party marketing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can opt out of texts by replying STOP. To access or delete your information, email support@showmyroof.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
